This Indenture made this Six Day of / June in the year of our Lord God one thousand seven / hundred and forty five Between Richard / Huckiby Late of the County of Brunswick of the / one part and John Roberson of the County aforesd. / of the other part Witnesseth that the said Richard / Huckiby for and in Consideration of the sum of / fifty pounds of Good and lawful Money to him in / hand paid by the said John Roberson the receipt / whereof he do's acknowledge He the said Richard / Huckiby hath granted and Sold aliened and /
Confirmed and by these presents do grant bargain and / sell alien and confirm unto the said John Roberson / his heirs and assigns for ever three hundred and fifty one acres / of Land Situate in Brunswick County formerly Surry / County one hundred acres of the said Quantity purchased / of William Gower being part of a tract Granted to the said / William Gower by patent for for three hundred acres Dated / the Eighteenth Day of February one Thousand Seven / hundred and twenty two and one hundred and / thirty five acres more part the said above Quantity / granted to Thomas Huckiby by patent Dated the Seventh / Day of July one thousand seven hundred and twenty six / and the residue of the said Quantity being part of a tract of / a tract [sic] granted to the said above named Thomas Huckiby / by patent for three hundred and sixteen acres Dated the / twenty Eighth Day of September one thousand Seven / hundred and twenty Eight and is bounded as followeth / Beginning at a white oak on William Gower's / branch so down the said branch to a Chesnut oak thence / to William Gower Line [sic] to a corner hickory thence to a / Small Branch on Kittle Stick thence up the said branch / to a corner oak thence to a Corner of William Smith / thence to a corner hickory thence to the first station / and / also the reversion and reversions remainder rents and / services of the said Land and premises and every part / thereof and also all the Estate right title and intrest Claim / and Demand whatsoever of him the said Richard Huckiby / his heirs and assigns of in and to the said Land and / Premises and every part thereof to have and to hold all & / Singular the said Land above mentioned and every part / thereof with the appurtenances unto the said John / Roberson his heirs and assigns for ever and the said Richard / Huckiby for him self his heirs and assigns the said / Land and premises and every part thereof against all / and every other person or persons whatsoever the said / John Roberson his heirs and assigns shall and will /
warrant and for ever Defend by these presents / In witness whereof the said Richard Huckiby / hath hereunto put his hand and affixed his seal / the Day and Year above written /

This Indenture and Memorandum of Livery of / Seisin were acknowledged by Richard Huckabee / one of the parties thereto and order'd to be Recorded / and Mary the wife of the said Richard personally / appeared in Court and being first privately / examin'd as the Law directs freely and voluntarily / relinquished her Rights of Dower to the Lands / conveyed by the said Indenture /
