[122] John Robinson / Deed for / 300 acres / of Land / Examd /
June 1756

This Indenture made the 3thrd Day of September / One Thousand seven hundred and fifty fore Between Richard Huckaby / and Mary his wife of Granville County North Carolina of the one / Part and John Robinson of Luninburg County Virginia of the other part / Witnesseth that for and in Consideration of the sum of forty pounds / Current Money of Virginia to the said Huckaby in hand paid or / Secured to be paid Whereof he doth hereby acknowledge the receipt hath / Granted Bargained and sold unto the said John Robinson his heirs and / Assigns for ever a certain Tract of Lan Containing by Estamation Three / Hundred acres be same more or less bearing date the forth Day of april / One Thousand Seven hundred and forty five begining at a white oak / on the west Side of Sixpound Creek then DWt 220 poles to a black / Jack then DSo 200 poles to a hickery then DEt 200 poles across the / Head of a little branch on the Creek to a white oak so down the /

Creek to the first station To have and to hold the said Lands / Hereditaments and premises with the appurtenances unto / The said John Robinson his heirs and assigns for ever / And the said Richd Huckaby and mary his wife for them / Selves their heirs Exos and admints doth Covenant Grant and / Agree to and with the said John Robinson his heirs and assigns / And shall by these presents and in manner and form following / That John Robinson his heirs and assigns shall and may / From time to time and at all times for ever hereafter peacebly / And Quietly have hold occupy possess and Enjoy the a fore / Said Land Tenements and premiseses with the Appurtenances / Before herein mentioned to be granted without any lest Trouble / Molestation or Interuption of Richard Huckaby and Mary / His wife or their heirs or any other person or persons what / Soever having or Lawfully Claiming to have any Estate / Right title Interest Claim or demand of in and to the same / And every part of the afore said Three hundred acres of / Land and that frees and aquited and Discharged or well and / Sufficiantly Save and keept harmless by the said Richd:huckaby / And mary his wife their heirs Exos Admintos and assigns / for ever In witness thereof the said Richd Huckaby / And mary his wife hath herunto these presents sett there / hands and affixt there Seals the day month and year first / Above written and metioned /
