This Indenture Made the 28 day of april / in the year of our Lord one thousand Seven / Hundred & Sixty between Nathlo. Kimbrough of / in [sic] the provence of North Carolina and orringe / County of the one part and John Roberson / of the provence afore Said in Granvile County of / the other part Witnesseth that for and in the Con / Sideration of the Sum of the Sum [sic] of forty / Seven pounds Current Money of virginia to / him in hand paid before the Signing or Inseal / ing of these presents the Receipt Whereof he / Doth hereby Confess and Acknowledge to the / Said John Robertson his Heirs les ads of / Every part and persell thereof Doth fully / Clearly & absolutly aquit and Discharge & hath / Bargined Sold and by these presents Doth Bargin / and Sell to the Said Robertson one Certain track / or persel of Land with the appertenances there / unto Belonging Situate Lying & being in / the County of Johnson on the South Side of

Nuse River it being part of a track of Land / Granted to John Blalock by pattent Berring Date / the 23 day of april in the year of Our Lord / 1753 the Same persell of Land to Contain 320 / acres be the Same More or Less and bounded as / follows to wit, beginning at a Red Oak on the / South Side of the Nuse River thene South 41 D E / 320 poles to pine thence North 55 Ds E 220 poles / to a Red Oak Near the Said Rever at a place / known by the Name of Toms Falls to have ho - / =ld posses & peaceably to Injoy the Said 320 acres / of Land with all houses woods ways orchards / gardins Meadows grounds with all other the / Rites priviledges and appertenances thereunto / Belonging and he the Said Natholo. Kimbrough / for him Self his heirs les ads or assigns Doth pro / mise Covenent and agree to and with the Said / Roberson his heirs Exs Xeds or Assigns that / he and they will warrant & for ever by these presents Defend and Maintain the Right of / the Said premises against all against all [sic] / Manner of persons Whatsoever Likewise he / the Said Kimbrough Doth bind him Self his / his [sic] Heirs Exs ads or assigns that he and they / will Make the Said Robertson further Deed or Deeds / as Council or ones Seiled in the the [sic] Law Shall re / quire in Witness whereof the the [sic] Said Kimbrough / hath Set his hand and fixed his Seel the Day / and year above written
