1261 Julius Robertson to Bartlett Rogers
Know all men by these presents that I Julius / Robertson of the County of Buncombe and State / North Carolina [sic] In Hold and firmly Bonded un / to Bartlett Rogers of the County and State afsd / in the just and full sum of one hundred pounds / Current Money of said State to which payment / well & truly to be made and done I Bind myself / my heirs Executors admrs. & assigns Firmly by these / presents sealed with my seal & Dated this 25th / of December one Thousand Eight hundred & Six / The Condition of the above Obligation is such that / if the above Bounden Julius Robertson do make a / a Lawful Deed of Conveyance or Path to one hun / dred Acres of Land (supposed to be) but not known / yet for the said Land is Bounded by Ponctilion lines / it being part of the said land that I Julius Robert / son now lives upon and lies on the East side of / Caney river, and bounded by the Bold bran / - ch above the Sugar Camp and Caney river / including the improvement Where Henry Bolling / now lives. Be the same More or less the Right / to be made shalt Before the twentieth Day of Oc / - tober Next Ensuing. Then this Obligation to be / Void Otherwise to Remain in full force power / and Virtue Witness my hand the Day & / date first above Written. Signed Sealed / and Delivered in the Presence of us
