E-mail Concerning 126717 Theophilus S. Robertson Date: Mon, 7 9 Jan 1998 17:25:44 -0600 Dear Tom: <snip> Theopolis Robertson lived in Essary Springs [Tennessee] when he died. His wife died in Corinth Miss. and is buried in Henry Cemetary. They left Essary Springs/Pocohontas area in about 1873 and went to Pensacola Fla so my gr grandmother could bathe her eyes in salt water of the gulf. That was prescribed by the doctor and then they planned to go to Calif by boat, but missed the ship and came back to Corinth Miss., where they had a boarding house. His wife was Arminta Caroline Dial Robertson and she died in 1883 in Corinth and then they moved back to Essary Springs area and my gr grandmother helped take care of the family (younger sisters) She had brother Joe, Bob, and Charles who were older. I have a probate paper from Memphis court that names all the brothers and sisters and their children.... Charles Robertson for some reason moved to Bethany Conn.... The brothers Joe and brother Bob lived in Miss, and some descendants live in Corinth now.... Sincerely, Mary Frances Foust Last updated: Monday, September 27, 2004
