The enumeration system I use on these pages is easy to understand and use. For example, 1147 Molly Robertson is the seventh child of 114 Nathaniel Robertson, and 114 Nathaniel Robertson is the fourth child of 11 John Robertson who is the first child of 1 Nicholas Robertson. A letter replaces any number over nine. Thus, 1227A Susannah Cockrill is the tenth child of 1227 Ann Robertson, and 1227 Ann Robertson is the seventh child of 122 John Robertson. 122 John Robertson is the second child of 12 Israel Robertson, and 12 Israel Robertson is the second child of 1 Nicholas Robertson.
